Located in West Columbia South Carolina the Three Rivers Project is a two building addition to an existing hospital campus. The in-patient addition consists of 32 new patient beds constructed to the most current safety standards relating to In-Patient Behavioral Health Facilities. The project also included expansion of the hospital’s existing dining room in order to serve the additional capacity.
The finishes within the new facility are anything but institutional. The finishes are designed considering durability, however; they are warm, inviting and conducive to a healing environment.
The outpatient facility contains 3 significantly sized group rooms separated by movable partitions. The rooms are capable of accommodating 28 patients each. These rooms also serve as training rooms for hospital staff. Also housed within the outpatient building are individual therapy rooms and conference rooms.
